Caustic app good for
No app--not figure, beatbox 2, garageband, rebirth,fl mobile, music studio, tabletop,I mpc,nano studio, gadget, cubasis, not all the loopers, not funkbox--no app inspires me to create sonically valid beats and grooves faster than this app. Ease of use, simplicity and plenty of user control make this app irresistible. With this update we now have a program with all the fun, yet actually more intuitive than the early years of FL Studio, Reason, Arturia Storm. No gimmicky visual distractions or sonic show off soundscapes. Unspoiled workflow with no cluttery bells and whistles. .The most transparent introduction to synthesis and to sequencing I have ever encountered. With audiobus and midi Caustic is the gold standard for user friendly no b.s. music creation. Every time I open this app I come up with a groove pattern or a song. Provides the workspace and workflow for the composer arranger musician-us-to do the razzle dazzle.3.2 for ios please!

This app is just simply amazing. I was making killer tracks in no time. You can touch on this app lightly and still achieve great results or you can dive deep into the app and create some very astonishing tracks. Most fun app and the most productive tool I have ever used. Well done 6 stars. ******
I was a Gadget fanboy before really giving this app and its workflow a chance. Its worth spending a bit of time to figure out to take advantage of the super clean and highly convenient UI an workflow. So damn powerful. I love the easy split between recording live and piano rolled patterns and song based data (automation and notes independent of patterns). The interface is simple and a joy to use once you put in the time. Certain things that appear missing, like undo, are there (in edit mode). One just has to get used to the mode based editor interface.
Once thing "missing" is being able to record audio lyrics and stuff but that can be done in other software, and Gadget doesnt bother with this much either.
The instruments are more advanced and varied than many of Gadgets offerings too. The strings simulator KSSynth and the drawbar organ, and the padsynth (additive synthesis made simple) are my favourites. I love the fact you can simply scroll through the instruments and piano rolls on the rack. Fantastic UI!
Easy to learn and use, great sound, many helpful Youtube videos, and a free OS X version. Stunning value for low cost and great fun!

Thats right, its back. Pick a single instrument, throw a bunch together, build with musical intent or tweak your brains out stumbling upon those "happy accidents". Understated interface. Deep, sweet fun. Mind blown.
Great app, has all the bells and whistles. Best all around go to app with this update, but with more and more apps adding iaa support, audiobus is becoming, as audiopaste once was, something we use when we absolutely have to. The convenience of inter app audio support which would probably mean one more machine, one that controls iaa apps. Imagine the potential then, being able to use synths like nave. Then well have a 5 star app.
This is the best mobile music production out there. I dont write many reviews but i wanted to take this time to give some love to the developer for doing an outstanding job. The tutorials are great too. Learning a lot from them. Thanks!
Updated Review (May 21) Audiobus support takes this already amazing app to a different level. Love the new KS synth. I dont know how it is possible but it keeps getting better and better. Thank you to the developer! Hes a one man army!
